…e tries to stay in contact with her friends who fled from Sarajevo. Although the war seems to be endless she does not give up hope. Zlata is fed up with being hungry and cold. She's very disappointed of the "kids", although she does not really understand what they are doing. The death and insurance of thousands of innocent people make her go crazy. She loves her parents and friends and they support each other.
