I thoroughly enjoyed learning about the person-centered theory. I found that the theory's view that people are basically good and can be trusted to be very supportive of the client. The view that people, when given the right kind of support and environmental conditions, can grow through themselves to be particularly important. <Tab/>I can definitely see myself using this theory in my own career. I feel the common sensibility of it would be huge asset in therapy. After all, the concept of person-centered therapy should be the root of all therapy. The point of it all, to me, is to focus on helping the client and dealing with the issues they have, whether they are perceived incorrectly or not.
