For my English coursework on Macbeth, I am going to study how the BBC's Short Stories depicts Lady Macbeth in their production of the play. In the film Lady Macbeth is portrayed in a less violent way than in other productions of the play. I believe that they were too kind towards Lady Macbeth in this production. I believe in this production, she does not come across as harsh as she does in the actual play written by Shakespeare.
