…me sad to think that these men were honored knights, yet they built castles with
money they took from homes and churches. Though there was all this killing and
corruption, I think the Crusades were well worth the effort. The Crusades are something
that I will never forget. Though I was only a part of the Crusades for the short amount of
time my father was alive, they were a great influence on my life.
