…Marian subconsciously believed she could catch something from the old age home, perhaps old age itself. Reading this story makes you think of how you treat things in life. Is doing something good a chore or something that inspires you and that you take great pride in doing. The title "A Visit of Charity" is rather ironic, charity means to show kindness and sympathy towards other, no one in this story does such a thing.
