"A day at the track" Descriptive essay

I don't know what it is about racing, but I really enjoy going to the track. The combination of all the cars racing, the smell of the smoking tires in the burn out lane, and the adrenaline that flows through your body as the cars line up just does it for me. Watching the cars going down the quarter mile of black pavement at a high rate of speed simply amazes me. There are so …

…boring. But to me, it's all I really need to have a good time. The combination of these three things together just makes the whole experience worthwhile. I really like getting a bunch of my buddies and going down there and making a whole day out of it. Just to see the different cars and gain ideas because one day I want to get a car and actually race instead of just being a spectator.
