However, he does not follow his wisdom because earlier in the play he wisely decided to not kill Duncan, but he goes against his wisdom when Lady Macbeth influences him to kill Duncan. When Shakespeare's work is analyzed one can see the many reasons why he may use certain symbols and images and how they are able to enhance the play by their use.
