Africans varied in many ways. Spain and Portugal's imperialist patterns were very different.
Spain focused their imperialist efforts in the Americas, while Portugal focused mostly in Africa.
The English had characteristics of both colonial empires, but still was very unique.The mixing of
cultures and colonial expansion forever changed history. Imperialism led to the increase of travel
