is one thing that puzzles me though, the Civil War was never really about slavery,
slavery was one thing that was influenced positively by the war. Lincoln on countless
occasion asserts this, it was first the Union than the great injustice of slavery. The
founding fathers would have never believed this day to come, a land with freedom
eventually ringing in every corner and crack in the region.
