Acts is certainly intended as a history of the early church, and indeed it is the most complete and valuable history of the Christians in the 1st century. Acts could be considered anti-Jewish and I am going to share with you some of the ways I think this is true. The Jewish people were not happy, so they decided to change their religion. …advocated by James and Peter that Gentiles needed to refrain from eating certain foods. I felt that Acts is anti-Jewish because it seems to put down the Jewish people. It makes them seem evil and crazy. Wanting to put Paul to death after he was put in jail. Saul/Paul seems to be embarrassed of his religion so he changes a lot about himself. This is why I feel that Acts is an anti-Jewish tract.
