Her books have consistently made the best-seller lists. She is one of the few authors whose novels have been serialized in magazines. Agatha Christie died on January 12, 1976, in Wallingford England. She remains, to this day, the most successful mystery writer of all time and is only outsold by Shakespeare and the Bible.
