…cost. This only further solidified the great misconception of this glamorous adventure called WWI. Soldiers enlisted in the war only to fall victim to great disorganisation. While in battle, they experienced many grotesque conditions. Finally, the emotional scarring that these brave men had to try and cope with afterwards was [for some] too difficult to bear. The minds of people around the world were changed forever. This is the price that was paid for war.
