definitely evolved during its first 200 years of being around, and has also been obtained in the view of many also. However, to me, the modern American Dream is just a hard to reach goal which can and hopefully will be obtained. The American dream effected many lives of Americans, whether good or bad, and has created and destroyed many peoples desires.
