new Constitution is definitely better than the Articles of Confederation but both documents have strengths and weaknesses to them. The leaders of the United States in the late 1700's were able to see most of the weaknesses in the Articles of Confederation and change them back then. The Constitution guarantees this generation and all of the future generations a very successful country with many freedoms that people from other countries are not able to enjoy.
