Baseball is arguably Americas favorite pastime. There is more history in baseball than in any other sport. The great players that have graced the game make it what it is today. Things have changed quite a bit from then to now. Players did not make anywhere near the amount of money they make now, and there weren't as many people filing into stadiums everyday back then. …take pride in what they do. The fans they please every night means the most to them. Without the fans their paychecks would be a lot smaller. The game of baseball needs players like this for kids to look up to. The players should recognize that and play the game like these two men do. Barry and Alex are great role-models and continue to make this game greater just like the pioneers before them did.
