…court. Basketball requires teamwork, quick reactions, and endurance. Taller players have advantages because they can reach higher to the hoop to get rebounds or make a dunk. However, smaller players also make contributions to their team by dribbling and making distant shots, like three pointers. A regulation basketball court is 96' long and 50' wide. Courts for high school games may be 84' long. Newer high school gyms however are coming out with 94' courts.
