Better To Be Born Smarter

Nerds, geeks, brainiacs, eggheads, dorks, and eagle scouts; these words have come to define the socially-challenged, yet academically-gifted populations in our schools. Taped glasses, high-water pants, pocket-protectors, well spoken and with high IQs; these are just a few of the characteristics that symbolize the stereotypical nerd or geek. …born out of fear rather than fact. They tend to leave everyone involved a victim. It is true that anything goes in this world, but wouldn't it be better to avoid dangerous situations rather than "dangerous people". So called "victims" should not be wandering the streets at night if they feel threatened by everyone they run into. It is a cold world, but don't let fear make it even colder than it has to be.
