Black Beauty

This story is about a horse that has a couple of names like Black Beauty and Black Jack. His first owners are the people at Berwick Park, where they treat him well and Sir John is the guy that takes care of him. Joe is a young apprentice who is learning of how to take care of horses becomes a good friend of Black Beauty. There he meets friends like Merrilegs but specially Ginger whom …

…has to move so he sells Black Jack (as he named him) to a grain factory where they had said that they would treat him well. But they treated him bad and he worked in the worst conditions. He was then taken to another horse auction. Where he saw Joe and when Joe was going away he heard Beauty and bought him. From that moment on Beauty lived in a paradise with his friend Joe.
