Sam Walton (the founder of Wal-Mart) was born in King fish, Oklahoma on March 29,1918. He was raised in Missouri where he worked in his father's store while attending school. Working in his father's store was his first retailing experience and he really enjoyed it. One thing Walton would be remembered for is his extraordinary charisma, which motivated hundreds of thousands of his employees to believe in what Wal-Mart could accomplish. Wal-Mart stores now operate in Mexico, Canada, Argentina, Brazil, South Korea, China, and Puerto Rico. Sam Walton vision was indeed a great one.
