Buddhism and Christianity Similarities.

…of suffering includes craving for desire, existence, and passion (Sermon at Benares pg 1 para 9). Christians sum up all of these "cravings" in one word: sin. The Nostra Aetate demonstrates the effort by members of Vatican II to encourage Catholics to acknowledge, as well as take interest in, the other religions of the world. Buddhism, specifically, shares many notable similarities with Christian beliefs and therefore it is important to recognize their religion as valid and credible.
