…Confucius in the term jen. By adapting Confucian principles and ideas to our modern culture, we can live a more peaceful, but less glamorous, lifestyle in America. This is plausible, but I do not foresee it in the near future. It is possible to revive certain ideas, and it is possible for Confucius to still affect our modern American society today, but not as drastically as in Asian societies in the past, present, or future.
