…Jack inspired fear, and loyalty (or loyalty through fear). Ralph inspired moans and grunts. Simon wandered off all the time, and sought true knowledge while shunning the politics of the other kids. They represent all sides of the spectrum, Jack on one side, Ralph in the middle, and Simon on the opposite side. Interestingly enough, Jack is the most evil, Ralph is in the middle, and Simon is the most good. That is no coincidence.
