With the lights going down and the music starting play, I could feel the audience starting to anticipate what was going to happen next. All of a sudden the curtains opened to reveal a superlative illuminated ballet setting, while the dancers, one by one, started to fill the stage, dancing to the melody of Peter Ilich Tchaikovsky's, The Nutcracker. …it first and see the real core of it, the true nature of its heart. If not for living in New York, I might have not become the person I am today, a young man interested in all aspects of life. If at some point I will have to leave the city, I will always remember New York as the city in which I grew up, and the city that I loved from my childhood.
