Most picture graphs display the overt signs of the war, while these are deciding factors of the war between the north and the south, it doesn't touch the more underground reasons the war took years. These "unimportant" factors stretched the war to the point where thousands died, and made a war that started off with enthusiasm end in bitterness, hatred, blood, and tears.
