…this ring is special. Every engineer receives a ring that is made from metal that come from a structure that has failed due to not following ethical principals. As I recall, the metal is from a failed bridge. This I think is very neat because it is a constant reminder to an engineer on a daily basis that we must follow ethical principals so that the safety of the public is never in harms way.
