The agricultural and conquest theories are opposing ones and have different ideas of the hearth of the mother tongue. As a result of Renfrew's proposed idea Russian scholars Vladislav Illich-Svitych and Aharon Dolgopolsky established the core of a pre-Proto-European language, which they named Nostratic.
