Concert Report 1 The concert that took place on Friday September 13th took place in the SMC Concert hall. The name of the group that was performing was called the John Meyer Trio. John Meyer was the man behind the piano and was doing all of the talking for the band. The person who was playing the drums was Ray McCudy and the person on bass was Dars. …because of the background beat. The only special effects that I realized were that the lighting was different. This concert was one that I did not enjoy that much because I did not really like that was the was Stephanie Haines was singing because I like more sinful blues by that I mean I like the old style Mississippi blues that you have played for us such as the kind of songs Muddy Waters wrote.
