CORRECTIONS In this report I will be telling you about the corrections department and it's importance to the prison. For more than 125 years the American Correctional Association has determined the reason for corrections and its effectiveness. It was founded in 1870 known first as the National Prison Association then later became known as the ACA. During the first organized meeting in Cincinnati, Ohio, the members elected Rutherford B.
