We got our Finnish tests back today. I got a 2!! It's so annoying, it doesn't matter how hard I try I never get anywhere with my Finnish. It's mum's fault, why did they have to make me bilingual?? I'd rather know one language thoroughly than speak two languages so that I can't call either of them my mother tongue.

to be hard work but I guess I have no choice. I don't want to fail school because of my Finnish, and in the end I'm happy that my parents brought me up the way they did. I guess mum just should have worked a bit harder on my Finnish when we lived in England but there's nothing you can do about that any more. And I can use all those English lessons for reading...
