…handed a bottle of water, an endothermic reaction occurring almost immediately; the temperature of my hand declining whilst the opposite effect takes place on the bottle. The slow chill works it's way up my arm and through my shoulder; my fast twitch muscles spasm to generate heat. The bottle is unscrewed and forced to my lips by strong, feminine hands; as I imbibe the cool fluid I realize what has just occurred, my goal...accomplished.
