These situations have not only shined light on federalism but have also brought out the real motives of the national government. …having strings attached, the states could do whatever they want with the money that the federal government gave to them. Without federalism, the US would not run efficient what so ever and therefore federalism is essential to the conservation of order in our country. Federalism creates an even balance of power between state and federal government which lays the foundation of the way that our country runs. Without federalism, this country would not have survived.
