General Wesley Clark: Issues

For many people, Democrats, Republicans and Independents alike, the 2004 presidential election was a huge disappointment. Among the Democratic candidates was General Wesley Clark. Although he was not nominated as the Democratic candidate for the 2004 election, he is considered a potential Democratic candidate for the 2008 presidential election (Wikipedia). …General Clark addressed directly concerned children and education. When Clark addressed children, he mainly concentrated on education. Some of the changes that would have been made had he been elected president are higher educational standards, a universal preschool plan, more after school programs and increased community safety, equality in the educational system, more opportunities to get a higher education, more funding for the arts and arts education and improvements on No Child Left Behind (Clark 04).
