…ves of the character. Although each book contain over 400 pages a piece, the story is easy to follow. The only disappointment came at the conclusion of Daughter of Fortune. I felt that Allende left me hanging. I wanted to know so much more about Miss Rose and Tao. I hope she writes a sequel that will give me some closure. I enjoyed the novels and would recommend them to everyone looking for great Hispanic literature.
