How far can we rely on the knowledge available to us through perception?

Perception is the knowledge we gain through our senses. This essay is to discuss the value of knowledge we get through hearing, feeling, seeing, smelling and tasting. From this can see that our knowledge based on perception is not on a very strong base, but maybe that's why we have all five of them instead of just one. The important thing is that we recognise when we might be fooled and try to minimise this. In normal everyday situations, however, we can trust our senses.
