There are three methods of selection techniques when assessing job applicants. The three methods are Biodata, Psychological Tests and Selection Interviews. I will be explaining the key features of each method and I will also be evaluating its strengths and weaknesses.
Biodata Biodata is the personal information about ones self. Biodata can be information such as the age of the applicant, the gender, their job experience and qualifications.

employee or whether extra training is needed to bring performance back to a sufficient level.
If an employee were performing very badly then it would be advisable that he/she be replaced with a more capable replacement. However most firms realise this problem and counter it by introducing some sort of probationary period in which the performance of the employee is assessed.
Other types of early indication would be the staff turnover and early leavers.
