Hurricanes are severe tropical storms which gather heat and energy through contact with warm ocean waters. Evaporation from the sea water increases their power. When they come onto land, the heavy rain, strong winds and heavy waves can cause massive destruction. In the past few weeks, America has had its worst nightmare. America is still putting together pieces of what remains after these drastic calamaties. The people who were affected are seeking for aid and assisstance. It would take a considerable span of time for the affected cities to regain the charm they once possessed.
