In 1 Corinthians 1, what are the main emphases of Paul's theology?

Believers are the called of God, recipients of what God has chosen to reveal, and that revelation is the Cross. The real status of the Corinthians is that they are rooted in God, not in the world. It is not that His wisdom belongs to them, rather they belong to Him.
