…the tremendous bonds between our friends and comrades. We had friendships which have lasted to this day. We have been able, by virtue of the RSL and our Returned Services Nurses Club to continue to serve our country and in particular the war veterans. We have the collections of money on Anzac and Remembrance Days, our welfare, hospital and home visiting. Our wartime experiences taught us that it is better to give than to receive.
