Italy: Coming to a new world.

During the time between now and the 1800s, millions of people have emigrated from their homeland to America. Some came from Poland, some came Russia. But no matter where they came from, they were all destined for the same thing: Freedom. I'm focusing on Italy. They wanted freedom as much as anyone else. …people who immigrated to America still have strong ties to those they left in Italy. Those were only some of the reasons that people left their old country. There are many more that some people will never know. And that is why people went through what they did; to get freedom. And the people who came here made America a better place for showing we might be different, but we all want to be free.
