It suggest that the Canadian government was protecting the population by relocating Japanese Canadians from the coast to the interiors of Canada. It is felt that justice will not be served, and the hardships suffered will not be forgotten, until the Canadian government is ready to take responsibility for their actions against the Japanese population during World War II.
