…People are depicted as constantly evolving in a cycle of life and death that is totally dependent on the mental and physical actions of the person. There is no defined process or stages for reaching nirvana. There is no divine intervention to assist in this passage. This passage to nirvana also requires a shedding of the personality that was unique to an individual. This doctrine appears to provide little comfort or hope of reaching nirvana.
