Jewelry Box

I cleaned my jewelry box the other day. I did it because every time I lifted the lid I met with confusion. Tangled chains and broken earrings overflowed the box along with outdated costume jewelry. It was time to remove the old and make room for newly acquired pieces. Along with the updated collection of jewelry, I placed the black coral earrings back into the box as a constant reminder of my commitment to self-examination and continuous personal growth. Feeling unable to part with the broken watch and old wedding ring, I carefully wrapped them in a soft cloth and added them to a collection of keepsakes--souvenirs of my progressive journey.
