Kerensky was a young man in 1917. In many ways, that was the tragedy of Russia in 1917, that such huge responsibility was placed on the shoulders of such an inexperienced man. Kerensky was also foolish. He was a great orator. He was very theatrical in his gestures. He was the darling of the Petrograd intelligencia. Young girls fell in love with him.
