…the film all that was captured were the greater scenes. I believe that the book enhanced my understanding of the novel; rather than the film. I was disappointed in the film because this novel is more than just a love story; it is the story of a young woman who was deprived of life and happiness because of her cold hearted mother. The film didn't really portray Tita's life as well as the book did.
