…The way he thinks is much different from the rest of the children. Ralph, in the later half of the novel is quite fond of Piggy. He seeks advice from Piggy as if he was an advisor. In reality it also works that way. The leaders always have advisors or strategists to obtain guidance from. The leader in most cases is just a figurehead; it's the people behind him that do most of the work.
