What is adult non-Hodgkin's lymphoma? Adult non-Hodgkin's lymphoma is a disease in which cancer (malignant) cells are found in the lymph system. The lymph system is made up of thin tubes that branch, like blood vessels, into all parts of the body. Clinical trials are often used for people who are not responsive to conventional treatment or who wish to help researchers test new therapies. Prior to treatment, the doctors may perform additional tests to measure such things as heart function (MUGA) and pulmonary (lung) function (Pulmonary Function Test).
