Macduff is a Scottish nobleman who was hostile to Macbeth's kingship and defeats Macbeth and claims his head in the name of Scotland, "Hail, king! For thou so art" Macduff yells with Macbeth's head in hand, showing his loyalty to Scotland and the new born king. Macduff is a true man of action with his swift sword and brave heart.
