The fact that she refused to testify on her own behalf hurt the outcome of her fate. She was protected by her constitutional rights; however, the jury always wants to her what you have to say. …If not, there can be guidelines for there incarceration. The final point in closing is, violent felons walk these streets everyday, and they are next to you on the street corner waiting to strike again. They were set loose for some sort of small technicality or some anti-jail activist lay in front of the court house. We need harder guidelines set in place. Nothing will happen until something tragic happens to an important persons family.
