My Grandmother's Battle

In the summer of 1999, when I was 13 years old, my life changed forever. When my grandmother began to not act like herself. I knew something wasn't right when I asked her what was wrong, she began to explain that she felt exhausted, and she couldn't eat without becoming sick and losing whatever she ate. …you must live life to the fullest because you never know when your life will end or someone's life around you that you love will end. Everyone has an angel and I believe that I was my grandmother's angel so that she could fight her cancer, but I also believe that she was my angel in another way, she helped me learn that life is something you should not take for granted.
