…friends in China and had to start over. Moving was also hard for my wife and me because we had to find new jobs and leave behind many relatives. On the other hand, we knew that California would provide the opportunity for a much better life than we could have possibly had in Nan Jing. It was almost every family's dream to move to America, and we were lucky to be granted with that chance.
